5G/6G Communications SDR
oHFM-standard RFSoC modules provide SDR baseband acceleration for 5G/6G communication equipment, shortening development cycles for small cells, emergency communication radios and more.
Typical Application Scenarios
Open RAN Small Cell Baseband
oHFM standard modules integrate RFSoC FPGAs supporting 4T4R MIMO channel processing, ready for physical-layer acceleration in Sub-6GHz Open RAN small cells, meeting 5G-Advanced real-time baseband signal processing needs.
6G Intelligent Reflecting Surface Testing
Channel simulation and prototype validation for 6G RIS intelligent reflecting surfaces, supporting real-time wideband signal transmission/reception and channel estimation, shortening the path from 6G algorithm simulation to hardware validation.
Emergency Communication Radios
Rapid deployment of customized SDR waveforms supporting ad-hoc networking, frequency hopping and encrypted communications for firefighting, emergency response, mining and other dedicated scenarios; modular design enables fast customization.
Pain Points of Traditional Solutions
Traditional custom hardware development is slow, taking 12-18 months from schematic to mass production
Small teams lack combined RF and baseband design capability, with high tape-out risk
Multi-standard compatibility needs keep hardware costs high
Rapid prototyping relies on expensive commercial dev boards, unsuitable for volume deployment
oHFM Standardized Solution
oHFM standardized modules standardize FPGA baseband processing, high-speed ADC/DAC transceivers, power management and interface circuits. Customers only need to develop upper-layer software and waveforms on the standard module, no hardware redesign required. The module supports JESD204C high-speed interfaces with up to 160MHz instantaneous bandwidth per card, covering the vast majority of Sub-6GHz communication scenarios.
